Jacob is originally from New Castle, Kentucky which is on the outskirts of Louisville. Growing up in a rural farming community, Jacob saw firsthand the significant need for financial planning and investment services and the impact that it can have. He has devoted his life to helping families and individuals along their financial journey.
Jacob attended the University of Kentucky and graduated with two Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting. He also earned his MBA from Morehead State University.
Jacob holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation. As a CDFA® professional, Jacob has specialized knowledge in financial issues that arise during divorce. He guides clients through the emotional divorce process and helps clients (and their attorneys) make sense of the financial impact of divorce.
Jacob spends most of his free time making memories with his family. His wife, Savannah, is a Travel Agent at The Travel Agency, LLC. They have two beautiful daughters, Myla and Emma, who keep them very busy. His family has a passion for travel, Keeneland, sports, and enjoying the outdoors. Jacob is an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals.

At FFP, we take a bulk of that work off of our clients, prepping and sending documents directly to them and their CPA. We take a very coordinated approach to this — we don’t want the client to have to be the middleman. It’s simple for me to jump on a conference call with a CPA and make sure everybody’s on the same page and we have an open line of communication.
