Back in 2010 when Alex and I started the Family Financial Foundation, our goal was to support and tell the stories of local charities and nonprofits.
After three years of hosting A Good Walk Spoiled, our charity golf scramble, we are proud to say we’ve raised nearly $70,000 for The Lexington Dream Factory, LexCare and the Christian Appalachian Project. This fall we are excited to add a new event to our Foundation’s fundraising efforts – the Seaside Dreams Gala, honoring Christian Appalachian Project’s 50th anniversary.
We are thrilled to have the chance to honor CAP for the work they’ve done for the state of Kentucky and beyond, helping countless families in need.
As we look back at five decades of the Christian Appalachian Project, we hope you’ll enjoy some good music, good food, and great company. Who: In honor of the Christian Appalachian Project’s 50th anniversary, the Family Financial Foundation presents its first-ever benefit gala, Seaside Dreams.
What: Great food and awesome auction items, both silent and live. The super-fun surf sounds of Lexington’s own Conch Republic band. Open bar, dancing, and lots of fun for a fabulous cause.
Where: The Carrick House, 312 North Limestone, Lexington Kentucky
When: November 14, 2014, 6:30-10:30 p.m.
Why: We know fall is a busy time. Holidays are looming, and that end-of-year to-do list keeps getting longer instead of shorter. So take a break, cut loose and have some fun for a night! We’ll be dreaming of the beach come mid-November and we bet you will too! Join us for the Family Financial Foundation’s Seaside Dreams gala benefiting the Christian Appalachian Project’s half-century of service. We’ll show you a good time, help you relieve a little stress, and you’ll feel good knowing you’re also supporting a great cause. See you Seaside!
